The MS 162 gasoline chainsaw is STIHL’s reliable entry-level model. Ideal for cutting firewood and small gardening tasks, it is also suitable for felling small trees.

The STIHL-engineered 2-MIX engine ensures excellent cutting performance with low fuel consumption. Precise cuts and clean results are achieved thanks to the 3/8″ P saw chain.
Key features: Equipped with the STIHL anti-vibration system, it reduces strain on the user’s arms. Starting and stopping the chainsaw is easy with the single-handedly operated combination lever. The side-mounted chain tensioner provides safe and simple chain adjustment. Transparent fuel and oil tanks allow users to quickly see when refilling is needed.
